JFK's LMP Team Succeeds In Placing 3rd!
Congratulations to the 2013 JFK Lodging Management Program (LMP) Team for garnering 3rd place in the On-Island LMP Competition held February 21-22, 2013 at the Guam Community College's Multipurpose Auditorium in Mangilao. The team comprised of sophomores in the LMP I program. Students competed in several events: Hospitality Project, Hospitality Operations and Knowledge Bowl. "This is an accomplishment for students who have only been in the program for less than a year," stated Ms. Carol Cruz, LMP teacher/advisor. Some of the major achievements were to receive the second highest scores for the Hospitality Project and Night Audit. In addition, the team was the only one to be given a perfect score in a guest folio for the Night Audit competition. Pictured left to right: Christian Santos, Mariel Sacayan, Breanna-Rae Tainatongo (Captain), Melissa Figirag, and Mrs. Carol Cruz (teacher/advisor).
